The Museum
Inspiring, contemplative and captivating, the Louis-Hémon Museum opens its doors for an unforgettable journey to the heart of the splendours of literature from here and elsewhere, to the depths of our most unusual stories.
Our mission : To promote and share the richness of literature through the work of the author Louis Hémon. To celebrate the territory of the country of Maria Chapdelaine and offer a place of creation where orality, reading and writing take all their meaning.
Immerse yourself in the world of Maria Chapdelaine and come and meet authors who continue, page after page, to amaze us.

The Tour du Lac-Saint-Jean is a 263-kilometer tourist route, now the 19th official tourist route in Quebec.
Its distinctive feature is its loop, a route that circles the lake via Péribonka, inviting visitors to discover the Lac-Saint-Jean and Ilnu communities, as well as rich and varied experiences: the pleasures of water, the joys of the outdoors, and a vibrant culture in all its forms.
