Meet the Author Jean Brodeur

The Louis-Hémon Museum and Loisirs Péribonka invite you to an evening of exchange on Wednesday, April 17, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hélène-Laliberté Library.

We are honored to welcome author Jean Brodeur, who will present his brand-new novel, Edgard and the Grise . This entertaining novel transports us to the heart of 1934 and invites us to reflect on ourselves. In this story of friendship and resilience, full of twists and turns, the young hero of Edgard and the Grise invites readers to join him in experiencing life at a lumberjack camp in northern Lac-Saint-Jean during the colonization era.

During this friendly evening, Mr. Brodeur would like to take the opportunity to discuss the creation of his book and express his gratitude to those who took the time to discover Edgard, loved him, and made it possible for him to share it with us today.

This is a wonderful opportunity to explore a remarkable chapter of our history and engage in conversation with the author!

Everyone is welcome!
